  7. quicktime 2.1.2 or higher

  10. system 7.01 or higher
  11. 60 mhz power pc or faster

  14. quicktime 2.5 or higher

  18. 1. quit all other applications
  19. 2. insert the cd into your cd-rom drive(the start.exe file will automatically launch)
  20. 3. If you do not see the opening logo movie (spinning 'A'), then QuickTime is not installed properly. Quit the start.exe program and and refer to the "to install QuickTime" 
  21. instructions further along in this read me.
  22. 4. if the cd doesn't start automatically, double click on start.exe in
  23. the "avalanche" folder.  or select start/run from your windows task bar
  24. and type "D:/start.exe" (if D is the letter of your cd rom drive)
  25.  
  26. Macintosh
  27. 1. quit all other applications
  28. 2. install QuickTime if you don't already have it
  29. 3. insert the cd into your cd-rom drive
  30. 4. double click on the start icon in the "avalanche" folder
  31.  
  32. to install QuickTime
  33.  
  34. windows
  35. 1. with the cd in the cd-rom player, double click on the "my computer"
  36. icon on your desktop
  37. 2. right click on the "avalanche" cd-rom icon and select explore
  38. 3. double click on the QuickTime folder, then double click on "qt32.exe"
  39. or select START/RUN from your windows task bar and type "d:/qt32.exe" if
  40. d is the letter of your cd-rom drive
  41. 4. restart your computer
  42.  
  43. Macintosh
  44. 1. with the cd in the cd-rom player double click on the install
  45. quicktime icon located in the QuickTime 2.5 installer folder.  Then
  46. follow the installer instructions
  47. 2. restart your computer
  48.  
  49. Colorado Avalanche screensaver (avs screen)
  50. 1.A screensaver is available for Windows only. An installer is available on
  51. the cd-rom as well as the Holiday Season page, just click on the 
  52. installer and enjoy!!
